Highlights of the Trip

We are Climbing for a Cause!

Nothing can prepare you for what you’ll see and feel in Peru.

Home to some of the most inviting trekking in the world, Peru is a country rich with indigenous cultures, dense jungles, colorful tropical rainforests, mighty rivers and lakes, and of course, the magnificent Andes Mountains.

The longest mountain range in the world, the Andes are on every hiker and climbers bucket list. For those obsessed with breathtaking views, the Peruvian Andes can’t be beat.

Peru has the largest concentration of snow-capped mountains and glaciers in the entire Andes mountain range. From the zigzagging valleys below, to the endless plateaus of Machu Picchu, you’ll have a front row seat to some of the most spectacular mountain views on the planet.

The Sacred Valley, which sits between Cusco and Machu Picchu, was the heart of the powerful Incan empire.

Roaming alpacas and munching llamas are the norm, along with native peoples who still farm the way their ancient Incan ancestors did.

Your days in Sacred Valley, and its neighboring valleys, will be filled with tricky passes, quaint villages, winding rivers, volcanic rocks, snow-capped mountains, Incan fortresses, and famous red orchids. You’ll hardly know which way to look because every site is breathtaking.

Rated as one of the top 5 treks in the world, the famous Inca Trail spans thousands of kilometers and its final destination is none other than Machu Picchu itself.

Passing through the Sacred Valley, your days on the trail will reveal well-preserved Incan tunnels hidden in the cloud forests. The trail actually consists of three overlapping trails that were originally used in the 15th century as a pilgrimage route to Machu Picchu for the ancient Incas and emperors. You can literally take a step back in time and walk the path of an ancient society.

The crown jewel of the Andes, Machu Picchu is almost impossible to describe.

A miracle of ancient engineering, this is a 500-year old ‘lost city’ that sits among the clouds on top of the world. No picture can prepare you for what you’ll see and feel here. A birds-eye view of Machu Picchu is available at the summit, along with blue skies and rolling green mountaintops as far as the eye can see.
With a limited number of visitors allowed each day, it’s truly a privilege to experience this miraculous place.
